JOB DESCRIPTION:
We have a unique and exciting opportunity for an MPH-prepared and experienced grant writer with a proven track record of awarded state and federal grants. We are looking for a Senior Director-level candidate with experience in corporate planning including community assessments, strategic goal setting and public policy. With a staff of five including grant writers and program evaluators, you will have the opportunity not only write grants but be involved in corporate-wide initiatives and growth. The Planning & Development department builds capacity and sustainability across the organization. We do this by securing funding (grants), program development, program evaluation, assessments and feasibility studies, strategic planning and public policy analysis and advocacy. Compensation Salary range: $86,962-$130,443 We offer a comprehensive benefits package including a health insurance, paid time off, continuing education and a generous retirement plan. The Pacific Northwest You will be living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, where you can enjoy spectacular wilderness areas, scenic ocean beaches and crystal-clear lakes and rivers. Because of the Cascade mountain range, the Northwest has two distinct climates: The west side is lush and green. Eastern Washington and Oregon, shielded from the rain-filled clouds by the high mountains, tend to be sunny and arid. The two climates enable farms and orchards to produce a bounty of different fruits, berries and vegetables. And with 22 appellations, Washington and Oregon are also celebrated for their world-class wines. And what Northwest dinner would be complete without fresh salmon, crab or shellfish? No matter where you live in the Pacific Northwest, you will be within an easy drive to a thriving metropolitan area, offering fine shopping, theatres, museums and galleries. The area also boasts progressive public and private schools and world-class universities. About Us JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic (YVFWC) is the largest community health center in the Pacific Northwest. We are dedicated to providing our patients with the highest quality care and offering them affordable health care options.
