SENIOR PROVIDER RELATIONS ASSOCIATE - Brooklyn, NY - As an integral member of our Provider Relations Department you will play a key role in identifying, recruiting, orientating and negotiating contracts with various network providers, hospitals and centers of care. Responsibilities will include: implementing programs to orient providers/provider staff to our services and product offerings effectively negotiating contracts establishing/maintaining contacts with providers training new staff members monitoring provider corrective action plans developing/implementing educational programs for providers responding to provider and hospital inquiries/complaints implementing provider surveys assisting with the credentialing process acting as a project manager for various tasks handling other related activities as needed To qualify, you must have a BA/BS, along with 3 years of health care delivery or managed care experience, and at least 2 in a managed care organization. Knowledge of managed care contracting languages, fee reimbursement and claims processing will be expected, as will solid oral/written communication, interpersonal, negotiation and PC skills. The ability to travel within the NY Metropolitan area and personal vehicle also required.
